History-making drag queen Adore Delano comes to BOLD with a slew of accolades. Adore–AKA Danny Noriega–just completed the first LGBT commercial for Starbucks, dropped a red-hot album on iTunes and launched a sold-out concert tour.
“Things are happening so fast,” says Adore. “I’m not one to turn down any J-O-B.” One of the most beloved contestants ever from RuPaul’s Drag Race, she takes us backstage and showcases the scene-stealing charm that won over millions.
A singer before he pursued drag, Danny was a contestant on season 7 of American Idol, where he dared to take Simon Cowell down a few pegs. In today’s interview, Adore/Danny also discuss the painful truth so many young performers discover: “There is a dark side to Hollywood. It’s no joke.”
