From her tumultuous relationship with Bobby Brown to her battle with substance abuse, this big-event movie has everyone talkin’ about its unvarnished look at the pop princess.

Today on BOLD, we go behind-the-scenes with Yolonda Ross, the actress who plays Robyn Crawford, Whitney’s best friend (who dealt with rumors for years that they were lesbian lovers.)

“Theirs was an intimate friendship no one could break,” says Yolonda. “Whitney was tough. She was strong. People should not forget that.”

Yolonda is a talented actress/writer/producer who has worked with Woody Allen, Denzel Washington, Viola Davis and many other A-list Hollywood players.
